DORTMUND: Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland has denied speculation of his move to Chelsea this summer, insisting he is happy in Germany with his contract still three years left.
Haaland has been linked with a move to the European champions after an outstanding season with the Bundesliga club, in which he scored 41 goals in 41 games.
The Blues started hunting for Haaland as early as March this year, with Real Madrid and Manchester City also interested in signing the striker.
Haaland, who is currently at a pre-season training camp in Switzerland, revealed he has little contact with his agent Mino Raiola.
“Before yesterday I hadn’t spoken to my agent in a month. So you’ve got the answer.
“I hope it’s just a rumor because it’s a huge amount for a player,” Haaland said of speculation about his move to Stamford Bridge.
Dortmund have already lost a key figure, Jadon Sancho who joined Manchester United this summer.
