ROME: Zlatan Ibrahimovic described his 150th Serie A goal coming through a free kick as AC Milan beat Roma 2-1 as slowing down as he got older.

“Usually it’s faster! At least 200km per hour! I think maybe my shot is slower because I’m older,” said Ibrahimovic, whose shot recorded a speed of 101km per hour when he hit Roma’s goal.

The Swedish striker, who will turn 40 this month, also scored his 400th goal in the domestic league but was disqualified for offside.

The match at the Stadio Olimpico between Stefano Pioli’s Milan and Jose Mourinho’s Roma also saw a clash between two players on loan from Chelsea – Fikayo Tomori who wore a Milan jersey and Tammy Abraham with Roma.

Ibrahimovic had earlier shared tips with French sensation Kylian Mbappe who is currently teaming up with Lionel Messi and Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain.

“I like Mbappe, but what he does is not enough. He is too comfortable in his own zone. He has to walk on fire, it will make it better.

“Imagine how strong he would be later if he felt pain. He had to feel blood. Sitting among people who always tell you you’re not good enough, you’re definitely going to be even better,” Ibrahimovic said.
