DUSSELDORF, Germany: Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez each scored twice as Inter Milan advanced to their first European final in 10 years in a 5-0 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk in Dusseldorf.
Danilo D’Ambrosio also found a target for Antonio Conte’s squad that will face Sevilla in the final early Saturday morning in Cologne.
The Italian giants have been going through a decade since winning the Champions League in 2010, but have narrowed the gap with Juventus in the Serie A stage to just one point in Conte’s first season.
The club is also now just one win for a major trophy in nine years.
The match between Martinez and Lukaku was a source of success for Inter as they collected 54 goals for the season.
