Salah: Liverpool Need To Win Remaining Matches

LONDON: Mohamed Salah says Liverpool need to win the rest of the season if they want to retain the Premier League title.

Despite beating West Ham 3-1 at London Stadium early this morning, Liverpool are still four points behind leaders Manchester City who have played less than one game.

The Egyptian star, who scored two goals in the match, believes the Reds should not drop any more points before the end of the campaign.

The goal ended Salah’s goal drought in six league games and he also criticized VAR.

“Every year is like that, if you want to win the league, you have to win every game.

“You just have to keep winning if you want to win the Premier League. It’s a good week.

“It was a good victory for us today, the second game in a row. We just have to keep winning.

“I don’t like VAR, it kills the fun of football. In other countries strikers get more freedom but here, I do not want to be criticized or fined, it is just my opinion about VAR. I do not like it,” said Salah.
